About Us

Who we are and what we're up to

Why we exist

Software is part of every business today — but often it brings dependencies, complicated interfaces and little control. We believe: Software should be clear, open and free.

That's why we develop solutions that last — not because you're bound to us, but because they offer real value. Those who work with us should do so because it fits — not because there's no alternative. Our motivation is to create digital tools that give freedom instead of restricting it.

Our story

We founded Pacifico in 2023 with the goal of making IT simpler and more human. Shortly after starting, we had to cope with a heavy loss: Our co-founder Daniel died unexpectedly. That was a blow of fate — and at the same time a drive to carry on our idea.

Since then we've been working to develop software that gives people freedom and remains what it should be: a tool. We're convinced: The greatest strength often comes from setbacks — and exactly this strength is in everything we do today.

Our vision

With raclette we're building a framework that helps companies develop software quickly and sustainably — independently and flexibly.

But raclette is so much more to us. We want to create an ecosystem where applications can communicate with each other. No expensive detours through additional software and no elaborate interface development, but simply communication that's built in from the beginning.

Long-term we see a digital world that works like a network: open, connected, self-determined. Not dominated by individual corporations, but shaped by a community.

And this doesn't belong to us alone. It belongs to everyone who participates. Anyone who participates is not just a user, but a co-creator — and that's exactly how it should be. For today and tomorrow.

Our values

Freedom

Our code is open. Everyone may read, use and further develop it. We want technology not to be a privilege, but to remain accessible to all.

Trust

We work in a way that we're at peace with ourselves. Money is a means, not a goal. In the end, long-term relationships matter more to us than short-term profits.

Humanity

We are humans, not machines. That's why we treat others as we want to be treated. Even in IT, empathy is the foundation for good collaboration.

Sustainability

Our solutions are modular, understandable and usable long-term. We think of IT so that it doesn't have to be reinvented tomorrow, but can grow piece by piece.

Where we're going

raclette is our starting point. We're making it open step by step, building a community and creating an ecosystem where software connects instead of separates.

We share our roadmap publicly — not here, but directly with the community. The future is created together. For us this also means: We listen, learn and go ways that we might never have found alone.

Who we are

We are a team of nerds and developers, with the vision that the right technologies can achieve great things. Everyone brings their experiences and motivation — and we share a common stance.

Pacifico is not a typical IT company.

Pacifico is our promise: We stand for digital sovereignty — for us, our customers and everyone who sees it the same way. And even though we're still at the beginning: We firmly believe that together you can build something great that lasts.
